Like mother like daughter: Teri Hatcher and Emerson attend the premiere of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie in California

She might only be 13 but Teri Hatcher's daughter Emerson is certainly growing up quickly.

The teen appeared on the red carpet with her Desperate Housewives star mum at the premiere of the Pirates of the Caribbean adventure: On Stranger Tide.

Like mother like daughter, Emerson looked glamorous along side her famous mum at the event at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Dressed in an sparkling emerald green dress, Emerson looked happy and relaxed as she posed for pictures with her mum.

The similarities between the two could clearly be see as they stood arm in arm for the bank of photographers.

Mum Teri wore a grey shimmering shift dress but it could be said she was out-shined by her off-spring in the style stakes.

Teri and Emerson are often seen out together and appear to enjoy a close relationship

It is not rare for the mother and daughter duo to been snapped out together. But this is the first time that Emerson has seemed so grown up.

She could easily pass for being 5 years older - while her mother barely looks her 46 years.

The former Lois Lane, Teri previously revealed she was pregnant with Emerson while playing Bond girl Paris Carver opposite Pierce Brosnan's 007 in Tomorrow Never Dies.

At the time, she was married to fellow actor Jon Tenney, who recently starred in U.S. drama Brothers and Sisters. However, the pair divorced in 2003.

Just two years ago Emerson still looked like a little girl but has since bloomed into a young adult

From little girl in 2007 to glamorous teen - Emerson is used to being in the public eye. They are pictured here attending the wedding of Eva Longoria and French basketball player Tony Parker in Paris
